- By November 5, 2019, students must submit their completed applications, and signed student/parent agreements, to a certifier. (Certifiers can be school principals or the head of a county 4-H organization, Girl Scout council, American Red Cross chapter, YMCA or a Points of Light Global Network member.)
- By November 15, 2019, certifiers select and certify top applicants for state-level judging.
- On February 4, 2020, The Prudential Spirit of Community Awards announces state-level winners for 2020.
Due to yearbook obligations, the application deadline will be moved to October 29th, 2019 in order for NHS to compile a roster for yearbook photos.

What is NHS you ask?
NHS is the National Honor Society where student commits to the four pillars: Scholarship, Service, Leadership, and Character.
9 hours per semester ( 18 hours per year)
–You can share up to 5 hours with CSF
-Turn in proposals at least 2 days prior to the event
2 fundraising events( In-club Event) per year (e.g. monetary donations, food fair, club rush, etc.)
At least 4 out of 18 hours from tutoring
-Mandatory 2 hours of tutoring per semester (You can’t share tutoring hours with CSF)
Minimum 50% meeting attendance
